Hello Everyone,
I'm Bhupali Dhamdhere-Ponkshe, founder of Saaj Heritage Boutique.
My story is one of deep-rooted connections and a passion for preserving Indian culture.
I spent 24 vibrant years in Pune's Shaniwar Peth neighbourhood, surrounded by bustling markets like Tulasibaug and Laxmi Road. These experiences became my inspiration. Even after moving to Canada in 2018, I couldn't find Indian-style clothing that truly resonated with me. The turning point came in 2021 when I missed festival clothing back home.
Launching Saaj Heritage during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 was a leap of faith. Before that, I held a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and had nine years of professional experience. But my heart was in celebrating and sharing Indian traditions through clothing.
In this incredible journey, I've learned many things. I've discovered the power of determination and the joy of creativity. I've also been fortunate to have the unwavering support of my family, including my husband, kids, sisters, and friends.
Today, Saaj Heritage is a testament to our dedication to providing tailor-made, handcrafted, sustainable, and affordable products. We've been humbled by the support of our growing family of customers who appreciate our unique offerings.
